Golden Jubilee Masters Basketball Competition set for Major Semi-finals

After three months of fierce competition, the inaugural Prime Minister's Golden Jubilee Masters Basketball Competition is gearing up for its Major Semi-finals tomorrow night (30th August) at the Taurama Aquatic & Indoor Complex in Port Moresby.
The Golden Jubilee Masters Basketball Competition is the initiative of Prime Minister James Marape, in collaboration with the Basketball Federation of Papua New Guinea (BFPNG), under the leadership of President David Peter.
Under the theme ‘Your Health is Your Wealth’, the Basketball Federation of Papua New Guinea BFPNG) aims to address healthy living by encouraging former basketball legends, including public servants and elderly people from all walks of life, to participate in the competition.
BFPNG President, David Peter, has expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the new concept, highlighting the importance of living an active and healthy lifestyle, and anticipating a thrilling major semi-finals tomorrow night.
Mr. Peter also acknowledged the Prime Minister for his vision to initiate this concept and extend the federation’s appreciation to the major sponsor, Kumul Minerals Holdings Limited (KMHL), among other sponsors.
Despite a few hiccups, the Basketball Federation of Papua New Guinea and its executives look forward to concluding the Prime Minister's Golden Jubilee Masters Basketball Competition on a high note.
The following are the four back-to-back matchups featuring top-tier veterans in the men’s and women’s divisions battling for the Cup and Bowl honors:
