Expression of Interest Open for 2026 Women’s Conference Soccer League

The Papua New Guinea Football Association (PNGFA) is pleased to announce that Expressions of Interest (EOI) is still open for clubs wishing to participate in the 2026 Women’s Conference Soccer League.
This competition marks another important step in the continued growth and professionalisation of women’s football in Papua New Guinea, providing a structured, competitive platform for clubs across key regions.
The 2026 season will be played in a Conference League format, with matches conducted on a home-and-away basis across Port Moresby, Lae, Kimbe, and Mt Hagen. Each conference will accommodate a maximum of six teams.
Clubs intending to participate are required to meet the following key conditions:
A non-refundable Expression of Interest fee of K2,000
An affiliation fee of K2,400
A player registration fee of K20 per player
A total payment of K5,000 to be completed before the start of the competition
Each team may register a maximum of 30 players
In line with PNGFA’s commitment to strengthening governance and club professionalism, all participating clubs must:
Be registered as a company
Provide registration certification from the Investment Promotion Authority (IPA)
Be registered with the Internal Revenue Commission (IRC)
Hold valid club insurance and provide a certificate of insurance
Operates an active bank account
All EOIs, along with proof of full payment, must be submitted to the PNGFA Competitions Department no later than Monday, 11 May 2026.
