The NGIP Agmark Limited announced its continued support for the FC Morobe Wawens in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) season 2026.
The small presentation took place at Agmark’s Cocoa Warehouse at Malaita Street in Lae, Morobe Province, yesterday (January 29th).
Managing Director Steven Nightingale officially presented the club with their brand-new 2026 jerseys, along with a sponsorship cheque valued at K150,000.
In a statement, the company said: “NGIP Agmark proudly reaffirms its sponsorship of Agmark FC Morobe Wawens for the 2026 PNG Premier Soccer League season.
“This partnership is about belief, community, and building something bigger than football. The Wawens’ resilience, determination, and commitment mirror the values that drive NGIP Agmark every day.
“NGIP Agmark stands strong with the Wawens. We’re proud to sponsor, support, and be part of this journey. Bring on 2026.”
The NGIP Agmark Ltd sponsored the FC Morobe Wawens last year, where the Morobean franchise reached the 2025 PSL grand final but lost to the PRK Gulf Komara.
While the Wawens fell short of lifting the PSL title, the junior men’s team were crowned the National Youth Soccer League (NYSL) champions.
With Agmark's strong backing, the FC Morobe Wawens, comprising the senior men’s, junior, and women’s teams, are aiming to compete for the coveted title in the 2026 Premier Soccer League, National Youth Soccer League, and Women’s National Conference Soccer League.
