NCD Touch hits overdrive

The National Capital District (NCD) Touch completed its Round 16 on Saturday, 27 June 2026, at Sir John Guise Stadium.

With four regular rounds remaining before the playoffs, the teams have lifted their performance to fight for their spots in the finals.

Twelve clubs are competing across five divisions, with the top 8 teams to be selected in all divisions.

NCD Touch Secretary Jack Kirewo explained that the finals would be hosted on August 10, 2026, revealing that the Masters Division will begin this weekend (July 4th).

Kirewo reminded the participating teams to compete aggressively, but adhere to the game’s rules and regulations, ensuring that sportsmanship is maintained on and off the field.

Despite facing logistical challenges and funding constraints, he said that the competition has been run smoothly, with the executives aiming to finish the season on a high note.

Mr. Kirewo thanked the teams for their cooperation and acknowledged the technical officials. He also praised the steadfast support and leadership of NCD Touch President Nelson Kopunye.
