NCD Touch Concludes Pre-season

The National Capital District (NCD) Touch completed its pre-season on Sunday, 8 March 2026, at Sir John Guise Stadium Multi-Purpose Oval.

The pre-season was played in a super mix division, with NCDC Falcons walking away as winners and a K500 cash prize.

NCD Touch kicked off its 2026 pre-season on February 22nd, running the games for three Sundays and ending it on a positive note.

Teams that participated in the pre-season were NJSS, Kopunye Lawyers, DHERST, Parliament, Digicel PNG, and Niu Sky Pacific.

The pre-season was sponsored by Buddy Mitau, who is the Vice President of NCD Touch and also the Technical Director of Touch Football Papua New Guinea (TFPNG).

NCD Touch acknowledged Mr. Mitau for his initiative to motivate the players: “Thank you, Mr. Mitau, for your support. It shows the heart you have for the code you.”

More teams have shown interest in registering for the proper season, like BNBM Hardware, Hastings Deering, TISA Bank, DICT, Trukai Industries Ltd, POM General Hospital, PNG SDP, and PNG Power.

The proper season will be played on Sundays, with all divisions participating from Open to Seniors. The venue will be at Sir John Guise Stadium.
