NCD Touch to start preseason

The National Capital District (NCD) Touch is gearing up to commence its 2026 preseason next Sunday, February 22nd, at Sir John Guise Stadium.

Following the successful completion of its inaugural season last year, the revamped competition aims to bring another exciting, high-octane season to the nation’s capital.

The preseason will run from February 22nd to March 1st, covering men’s and women’s teams across two divisions: Open and Senior.

Last season’s participant, Digicel, is the first team to confirm its participation, while other teams are preparing to register in the coming days.

The registration is K6,000 per team covering all divisions. The old teams and newcomers are welcome to join the growing competition.

The proper season for the Open and Senior divisions will kick off on March 8th, while the Masters will start in mid-April. The competition will run from March 8th to August 30th.

Draw Schedules:

  • Open Divisions - Sunday, 10 am to 5:00 pm

  • Senior Divisions - Wednesday night, 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm

President Nelson Kopunye and his executives expressed satisfaction with the outcome of last year’s competition and look forward to delivering an improved, fast-paced, and competitive 2026 season.
