NCD Corporate Beach Volleyball kicks off Season 2 Preseason Trials

The NCD Corporate Beach Volleyball Competition, coordinated by the Port Moresby Corporate Volleyball Competition, kicked off its Season 2 with thrilling preseason trial games on Saturday, 18th October 20225, at Ela Beach. 

The event brought together some of Port Moresby’s top corporate houses for a day of skill, energy, and sand-court action, with season 1 (2024) champions were out to defend their titles:

• Men’s Division - Sunev Teews

• Women’s Division - Stanley Hotel

• Mixed Division - NCDC

For the 2025 season, participating teams include NCDC, Sunev Teews, Stanley Hotel, Digicel, Elegant, PMNEC, DoE, and IRC - a strong lineup that promises intense and competitive matchups throughout the tournament.

The trial games allowed new players to experience the sand-court version of volleyball - testing their agility, teamwork, and adaptability under the scorching beach sun. 

Teams like Sunev Teews, Stanley, DoE, Digicel, and Elegant came out strong, showing that they’ll be serious contenders against the defending champions, NCDC, this season.

With the trial rounds now complete, all eyes turn to the official full-day tournament on Saturday, 25th October 2025, where teams will battle for a place in the finals.

The stage is set for another exciting corporate sports weekend. Expect high energy, teamwork, and plenty of beach volleyball action at Ela Beach this Saturday, 25th October.
