Papua New Guinea male flag bearer Mattew Stubbings and PNG female tennis star, Abigail Tere- Apisah have brought in a Gold for PNG in the mixed tennis doubles final, defeating Tahiti’s duo Heimnanri Lai San and Tavero Chung with 2-0 points at the Pacific Games in Solomon Islands on Wednesday, 29th November.
Abigail winning streak continues today (Thursday, November 30th) as she won gold in the women's singles event in Tennis after beating Samoa 2-0.
Meanwhile, Mattew Stubbings will go against Guam to compete for the bronze medal play off in the men’s singles.
