The Rascol Legends have strutted their stuff by winning all the divisions, except a draw in the Open Men’s Division of the National Capital District (NCD) Touch preseason, which concluded on Sunday (March 23rd) at the Sir John Stadium Multi-purpose Oval after three entertaining rounds.
Led by the club president and experienced touch player, Bobby Nourumo, the Rascol Legends showed their strength and belted the opposition teams, hoping to continue their winning streak in the season opener this Sunday, March 30th.
President Nourumo was pleased with the team’s performance during the three preseason games but admitted that there’s more work to be done to tidy up the weak areas and prepare the team well, making them become competitive and serious championship heavyweights.
With ten teams confirmed to participate in the NCD Touch competition this season and the proper season to start on Sunday (March 30th), the Rascol Legends are stoked and poised to make their mark in the competition.
The addition of a few newcomers and old teams will increase the pace of the 2025 NCD Touch competition, making it competitive and interesting as the participants lock heads and battle for supremacy in their respective categories.
Among other strong contenders, the Rascol Legends will be a team to beat. They have the experience, youth, and skills to give other teams a run for their money as they set their sights on bagging the title.
