After 22 rounds of competitive and entertaining football, the top four teams have progressed to the Semifinals, where they will compete for the prestigious PSL 2025 championship glory in the nation’s capital.
Lae City FC had an unbeaten record of 50 points, registering 15 wins and 5 draws from 20 matches. The competition leaders also claimed the Minor Premiership title following an incredible season.
Despite losing a few of its experienced players to the OFC Professional League team, Hekari United FC’s young guns stepped up to defend their title, finishing second on the standings with 40 points.
Gulf Komara FC had a mixed season, finishing 3rd on the pole position with 40 points, while FC Morobe Wawens secured the top 4 spot with 37 points.
The PNG Football Association acknowledged the dedication and commitment of all clubs, officials, match officials, venue staff, and the supporters throughout the regular season and looks forward to delivering a successful season.
“We congratulate the top four teams on reaching the semi-finals and extend our appreciation to all participating clubs for their contributions to a successful 2025 season. We anticipate highly competitive fixtures as the league moves into the finals,” said PNGFA.
