The Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) Professional League has cancelled today’s fixtures (21 January 2026) to a later date due to severe weather conditions affecting the pitch.
The two matches scheduled today between PNG Hekari FC and Tahiti United, followed by South Melbourne FC and Solomon Kings FC, have been called off, citing severe weather conditions at Auckland’s North Harbor Stadium.
The OFC Pro League released a statement, stating: “The decision to postpone the matches has been taken in the interests of player safety, match officials, and supporters.
“Due to adverse weather and unsafe pitch conditions, both matches today have been postponed.
“We are working away in the background to reschedule, and will let you all know in due course.”
The OFC Pro League advised that the fixtures would be rescheduled to a later date within the competition calendar, with further details on the new match date to be announced in due course.
