A local Rugby League Club in the Erave Sub-District of Kagua-Erave District, Southern Highlands Province, has received a full set of jerseys from a generous sponsor and Erave’s own son, Jason Tirime.
The Gateway Titans Rugby League Club, which is participating in the Erave Rugby League (ERL) competition, becomes the recipient of the jersey donation from Mr. Tirime.
The new set of jerseys will help boost the team’s morale and performance on the field as they prepare to compete in the Erave Rugby League competition.
The club’s management and players expressed their gratitude to Mr. Tirime for his donation, which will develop better players to win games and display good sportsmanship on and off the field.
“We want to thank Mr. Tirime for sponsoring our club (Gateway Titans) with this full set of jerseys,” said a spokesperson from the club.
“We are truly blessed to have Mr. Tirime’s support. This is for our home, our community, and the development of our players.
“The jersey donation will inspire young athletes in Erave and strengthen the club’s presence, especially in the Yamurupi community.”
The players will wear the jerseys with pride every time they are on the field. This jersey donation will not only boost the players but also help and shape them to become respected community members.
With the new jerseys, the Gateway Titans look forward to a strong season ahead to represent the sponsors, including the supporters and their community.
