ree

The China Enterprises Association in PNG is hosting its Badminton Friendship Tournament Semi-Final games today (8th November 2025) at Sir John Guise Stadium Indoor Complex, with the Grand Final matches to be hosted tomorrow (9th November).

The tournament aims to promote fitness and healthy living among the Chinese business houses operating in Port Moresby, which is spearheaded by the Chinese Embassy.

It also creates an environment for the Chinese community to interact with each other, build camaraderie, establish relationships, and network, including business opportunities.

The friendly tournament started last weekend (1st November), featuring fourteen business houses competing across three divisions: Single, Double, and Mix.

The teams have competed fiercely against each other and are looking forward to claiming the top honors in the grand final tomorrow, with prizes to be given away to the winners in their respective divisions.

The tournament began in 2018 and ran its second edition in 2022. This is the third edition of running the friendly competition between the Chinese businessmen and women living in the nation’s capital.
