𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗼𝗯𝗮 𝗞𝗼𝗳𝗶 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗯𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗼 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝘂𝗽 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶gn

Locally-owned company, Togoba Kofi Limited, has stepped forward to sponsor the Port Moresby Menjails in their second season campaign in the Rigo Rice Cup.

Togoba Kofi Limited Managing Director, Fred Koldop, officially presented the club’s new customized jersey set yesterday (March 4) and confirmed a strong financial commitment to ensure the team’s full participation in the competition.

The sponsorship package includes:

• K8,500 for a fully customized jersey set;

• K3,000 for team registration to compete in the Rigo Rice Cup; and

• K10,000 to support team operations throughout the tournament.

This significant backing positions the Menjails strongly as they prepare to compete in one of the region’s competitive off-season tournaments.

The Menjails have maintained a consistent presence in the NCD off-season competitions and have grown into a well-known and respected rugby league team in Port Moresby.

Speaking during the presentation, Mr. Koldop reaffirmed Togoba Kofi’s commitment to community development through sports.

“Togoba Kofi is a locally-owned company, and it is here to help where it can to support youths in any activities they are engaged in,” he said.

He further emphasized that the company’s backing would extend beyond just one tournament.

“We will be providing everything for the team to go on and compete in any off-season competitions and tournaments,” Koldop assured. 

Highlighting the company’s broader vision, Mr. Koldop added: “Our vision and motive is to encourage the youths to be fully engaged in sports and keep them busy to avoid illegal activities.”

Reassuring the club of long-term partnership, he stated: “Togoba Kofi is here to stay and will always be supporting the team.”

Menjails Team Manager, Nimrod Wereh, speaking on behalf of the club, expressed sincere appreciation for the sponsorship.

“Thank you very much for your generous support of Port Moresby Menjails. We are truly proud to have you on board as our Major Sponsor,” he expressed. 

Mr. Wereh also acknowledged the Managing Director and the Togoba Kofi team for their confidence in the club.

“On behalf of our President, Wale Budda Molumi, the players, team management, and stakeholders, we sincerely appreciate your commitment and extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Managing Director and team of Togoba Kofi Limited for standing with us,” he said. 

With preparations underway, the Menjails are determined to repay the faith shown in them by Togoba Kofi.

“We are fully committed to giving our very best in the upcoming Rigo Rice Competition and aim to finish on a high note,” Wereh added. 

He concluded with a message of blessing and appreciation: “May our good Lord continue to bless and guide you and your team through the challenges ahead.
