Hunters face injury crises

The SP PNG Hunters are going through injury woes, with eleven (11) players being sidelined after sustaining various injuries.
With a winning record of 2 out of 9 games, the compounding injury list has been a massive blow to the already struggling side.
Hunters released a media statement, confirming the injury concerns: “The SP PNG Hunters continue to face unprecedented challenges presented by a growing injury list within the squad, as several key players are currently sidelined.”
At present, the following players are undergoing assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation:
1. Vane Manumai— High ankle sprain
2. Graham Rex — Low-grade hamstring strain
3. Samuel Wak— Fractured forearm
4. Koso Bandi — Knee issue waiting on scans
5. Seal Kalo — Dental issue
6. Elijah Roltinga— Minor knee issue
7. Douglas David— Minor knee issue
8. Noah Yangomina — ACL rehab
9. Myles Banam – Lower-leg strain
10. Whallan Tau-Loi – Knee injury
11. Carlos Lung – Minor ankle sprain
“Our medical and performance staff are working closely with each player to ensure they receive the highest standard of care and recovery support,” the statement read.
“While these setbacks are significant, the health and long-term well-being of our players remain the club’s highest priority.
“The club will continue to provide updates on injuries as we progress.”
