Olam set to play his 100 NRL games for Storm

The Papua New Guinea International and Melbourne Storm’s left-edge strike centre, Justin Olam will play his 100 National Rugby League (NRL) games for the Victorian franchise, when the purple army take on the Sydney Roosters in their round 20 clash at Sydney Cricket Ground this weekend.

Olam made his NRL debut (first appearance) for Melbourne in round 9 of 2018 against the Saint

George Illawarra Dragons at Jubilee Oval, where Storm unfortunately lost to Dragons 34-14. Since

then, he has cemented his spot.

The proud Simbu lad would go on to play 99 games for Storm, scoring 50 plus tries, winning his

maiden Premiership and bagging Centre of the Year in 2020, and most importantly, representing his country by donning the coveted PNG Kumuls jersey on numerous occasions.

In his short NRL career, Olam has achieved so many things that many players dream of

accomplishing. He has become the fan-favorite and one of the household names in the NRL.

As his 100 game approaches, the “Simbu Limestone” is looking forward to rising to the occasion and stamp his authority on his milestone game. Make no mistake, he is on a mission to put on a solid performance and make his presence felt on his special day.

Congratulations to Justin Olam on reaching 100 NRL games for the Melbourne Storm and all the best to him and Storm, as they go head-to-head against the Sydney Roosters this weekend. Godspeed, country man.
