The Brisbane Broncos joined BSP School Kriket in a fun afternoon of cricket drills with NCD Primary Schools on Sunday 29th October, 2023 at Amini Park, Port Moresby. The event was managed and organized by BSP through its community sports program.
The students were from Sevese Morea and Taurama Primary Schools, and were the honored lot to have attended this sporting event with Brisbane Broncos NRL female and male players Romy Teitzel, Annetta-Claudia Nu’uausala, Tyson Smoothy, Cameron Bukowski, along with Ambassador and former male player Alex Glenn, Community Programs Manager Katherine Jurd and GM Commercial Daniel Glass of Brisbane Broncos.
BSP’s Corporate Sponsorship Manager Amelia Minnopu joined Cricket PNG’s CEO Richard Done and BSP Program Coordinator Henao Samuel in welcoming the students and Brisbane Broncos NRL female and male players.
Also, present were Cricket PNG-BSP Game Development Officers, Tahuni Tom, Boe Nou, Helai Willie, CPNG-BSP Regional Cricket Manager NCD Sakavai Gebai, ex Lewas Rep Lucy Ovia to manage the 120 participants with their teachers who enjoyed a fun filled afternoon that included fielding techniques and running between the wickets with plenty of opportunities for selfies and autographs with the Brisbane Broncos.
The Broncos representatives leave for Australia today,1st November, 2023.
